Terms & Conditions

All sales by Carzrus 1 are made pursuant to the following terms and conditions. No other or additional terms or conditions are or will be accepted

PLACING AN ORDER

  • ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS – Submission of an order through the web forms, PDF forms, does not constitute acceptance of an order. Once you submit a query through our online forms, please allow us 24 hours to confirm your query or order.
  • Cancellation is allowed within 48 hours of payment and prior to shipping after which no cancellation of order is allowed.

SHIPPING

  • Please be advised that the removal of any parts from the vehicle for shipping purposes will incur an additional charge of $20. This fee is non-refundable. Furthermore, should there be a cancellation prior to the shipment, a handling fee of $20 will also be applied, which is non-refundable.
  • Carzrus 1 does not ship to PO Box, mailbox, and APO/FPO addresses.
  • Delivery time is about 7-10 business days but, in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as COVID-19 or other natural disaster which are beyond the capabilities of Carzrus 1, please allow additional time. No shipment will require Buyer’s signed delivery receipt unless requested upon purchase or at least 24 hours prior to shipping.
  • All shipping dates are approximate, and Carzrus 1 shall not be liable for loss or damage because of delays occasioned by labor disputes, damage to facilities, or failure of suppliers or subcontractors to meet scheduled deliveries or any other cause beyond Carzrus 1’ reasonable control or making its performance commercially impracticable.
  • If ordered goods are refused by Buyer or returned to Carzrus 1 due to Buyer’s failure to accept delivery, Buyer shall remain obligated to pay the purchase price and will reimburse Carzrus 1 for all shipping fees incurred by Carzrus 1, and Carzrus 1 shall be permitted to impose a thirty percent (30%) restocking charge.

RETURN/REFUND POLICY

  • No merchandise may be returned without prior authorization.
  • We accept authorized returns within 30 business days from the date the product was received by the buyer or original recipient unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
  • All authorized returns must be unused and in their original condition, including all items and components that were included in the original package. Items being returned must not have been disassembled, mounted, modified, or damaged due to incorrect installation or user error.
  • If your shipment arrived with a damaged or incorrect item, please repackage the item(s) in the original shipping container.
  • Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. If you receive missing, damaged, or incorrect parts, please call us immediately (within 3 days from delivery) so we can assist you in processing a return for replacement or refund. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 30 calendar days for all products, regardless of the party at fault.
  • The Buyer should protect the product from any further damage and should return the original defective part to us. The Buyer should furnish all such information as we require, this includes written proof of the vehicle’s maintenance on a regular basis.
  • All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to 30% handling and restocking fees plus shipping costs. Freight must be pre-paid by Buyer on all returns.
  • Refunds are normally processed and credited within 48 business hours after we receive your part(s). Once the returned part(s) has/have been inspected and processed, the refund will be credited to the payment method you used to buy the item(s) you ordered. You will receive a “credit approved” e-mail the day your refund is processed. If the purchase was made with a debit or credit card, it may take an additional 1-7 business day(s) for your financial institution to reflect the credit back on your account.
  • In the event that any core part or any purchased part returned to us is not properly drained or cleaned, a charge of $35 will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • The total amount specified in the Quote, Work Order, or Invoice includes non-refundable labor charges, irrespective of the nature of the issue. These labor charges may or may not be itemized separately in the Quote, Work Order, or Invoice. If needed/required, customer can ask for detail description/breakdown of the total amount of (Quote/Work Order/Invoice) from the sales agent before making payment for the order. The minimum chargeable amount is $10 and maximum amount is $50, depending on the type of part. The refund of this non-refundable labor charge is solely at the discretion of Carzrus 1.
  • In the event that a part is returned, or the customer tries to return the part without a valid reason or without a mechanical report verifying the part’s malfunction, or if the customer cancels the order after the part has been pulled out from the vehicle, or if the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours after payment, a non-refundable labor charge ranging from $10 to $50 (depending on the part type) will be applied, regardless of the issue.
  • All Returns must be shipped via UPS or Freight Truck or USPS.
  • In the event that a part is faulty or not functioning as claimed by you, Carzrus1 may request a mechanical report detailing the reasons, causes, or specific parts preventing proper operation. Failure to provide such a report will be considered a violation of company policy, as the authenticity of the claim cannot be validated without it. Consequently, Carzrus1 reserves the right to determine the appropriate course of action, given your non-compliance with the basic requirements outlined in Carzrus1’s terms and conditions.
  • If a part has been purchased directly from the store, picked up by you, or collected by any of your authorized representative, any issues with the part must be addressed by returning/bringing it to the Carzrus1 store or office. The part should be accompanied by a mechanical report if required or requested by Carzrus1. This process ensures that your complaint can be verified, and appropriate actions can be taken to resolve the issue. Carzrus1 is not responsible for, nor obliged to, visit your premises or any other location to inspect the part and verify the complaint or claim if asked or requested by you or by any of your authorized representative.
  • If you encounter any issues with your order, whether it has been picked up from the store or delivered to your specified address as mentioned in the online order form, please complete the online complaint form to raise a ticket. Ensure you submit relevant pictures along with your complaint. Carzrus1 may request additional information and images to address the issue effectively. Providing all necessary details will facilitate a smooth resolution process. Failure to comply with these requirements may invalidate your warranty, refund, or replacement options, and Carzrus1 will not be held responsible.
  • If a package, shipment, or part arrives damaged (e.g., broken or cracked), the customer must retain the item in its original packaging and promptly contact Carzrus1 via phone or email. The issue should be briefly described, and a ticket must be raised and submitted along with photographs of the damaged package, as instructed by a Carzrus1 authorized representative. Failure to follow these steps may hinder Carzrus1’s ability to resolve the issue efficiently. Additionally, Carzrus1 must be notified of such incidents within 24 hours of receiving the package, shipment, or part. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty, refund, or replacement options.

WARRANTY

  • Carzrus 1 warrants that, on the date of delivery to carrier, the goods are free from defects in workmanship and materials.
  • Carzrus 1 makes every effort to inspect and make sure the part is clean before it ships but makes no warranty or guarantee regarding the appearance.
  • Engine or transmission must be installed, AND warranty automatically is activated from the day it is received by the customer or delivered to the customer mentioned address OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL BE VOIDED.
  • Engine warranty is limited to the long block that includes defects in the heads, blocks, crankshafts, pistons, rockers, camshafts and oil pumps. Parts external to the cylinder head(s) and cylinder block – the distributor, fuel pump, and carburettor – are not under warranty. These are left for the convenience of the installer only. New radiator and oil cooler, timing belt, thermostat, oil seals, and gaskets must be installed before engine installation. New oil filter must be installed and engine oil must be replaced to manufacturer’s suggested level. We do not guarantee against oil leaks. We do not guarantee against failure of other accessories installed on the new engine from the buyer’s old engine. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the function of any and all accessories used on Carz R Us 1 engine. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the transmission of the vehicle is functioning properly so it will not damage the engine. If the transmission is malfunctioning and damages the engine all warranties are voided. All engines and cylinder heads have heat tabs installed on them. If the vehicle begins to get hot the buyer must stop the vehicle and turn off the engine immediately. Failure to stop the vehicle and shut off the engine immediately will result in the engine overheating and will void all warranties. If the centre of the heat tab is melted out, or the heat tab is missing or the engine is run hot under any conditions the warranty is void. Please check your parts for heat tabs before return. Receipts required for all warranty claims.
  • We do not warranty oil leaks/impairment on engines or transmissions due to non-replaced seals, gaskets or filters.
  • Transmission Warranty: The installer is responsible to reprogram any modules, replace or flush the radiator, transmission fluid cooling lines and transmission oil cooler. Proper operation of the cooling and electrical system should be checked when installing products that could be affected by these systems. Recommended installation procedures that we provide should be followed by the installer to maintain warranty coverage. Failure to install a new filter (A.T. only), improper detent adjustment, broken front pump, low-level fluids or improper installation voids all warranties.
  • OEM auto parts are interchangeable with multiple years, makes and models, which means the same part is an exact fit for multiple makes and models as determined by OEM standards. We guarantee the part we sell to fit your vehicle.
  • Any engine and transmission returned not in the same assembled condition as it was received will not be refunded under any situations. If the engine or transmission is disassembled in any way without our express written authorization, it will void the warranty.
  • The Buyer/purchaser hereby agrees to pay all costs associated with examination, diagnosis, testing, and repair if failure has not occurred or has happened due to improper installation or any other reason outside the warranty scope herein. We reserve the right to inspect warranty claims that are related to transmissions, engines, axle assemblies, carriers or any other part before removal or return. Furthermore, we reserve the right to make the final decision of the warranted parts failure; our decision shall determine the validity of the warranty claim.
  • This warranty coverage ends after one replacement of the part described on the original invoice.
  • All cooling lines must be flushed of foreign materials. Vehicles which have Carz R Us 1 engines and transmissions installed must have proper capacity cooling systems and be in good working condition.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Odometer mileage determinations for used transmissions and transmission parts are not practically possible, and are not subject to known state and federal laws. Determination of mileage use for used engines or transmissions cannot be done with certainty because these engines and transmissions are routinely sold and transferred separate and apart from the original vehicle in which they were installed. Therefore, all representations of mileage are estimates based upon information and belief.
  • Carzrus 1 will not be held responsible for installation or labour expenses, towing expenses, additional repair expenses, or rental car expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.
  • The buyer’s exclusive remedy against Carzrus 1 in the event of breach of warranty or contract or for negligence or otherwise with respect to goods sold shall be for the repair or replacement of defective goods. no other remedy (including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages, for lost profits, lost sales, injury to person or property, or any other incidental or consequential loss) shall be available to buyer.
  • Any action against Carzrus 1 for breach of warranty, negligence or otherwise must be commenced within one year after such cause of action accrues.
  • NO CLAIM AGAINST Carzrus 1 FOR ANY DEFECT IN THE GOODS SHALL BE VALID OR ENFORCEABLE UNLESS BUYER’S WRITTEN NOTICE THEREOF IS RECEIVED BY Carzrus 1 WITHIN TWELVE (12) MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF SHIPMENT.
  • Carzrus 1 shall not be liable for any damage, injury or loss arising out of the use of the goods, if, prior to such damage, injury or loss, such goods are (1) damaged, over exposed to the elements or chemicals or otherwise misused following Carzrus 1’s delivery to carrier; (2) not maintained, inspected, or used in compliance with applicable law and Carzrus 1’s written instructions and recommendations; or (3) installed, repaired, altered or modified without compliance with such law, instructions or recommendations.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • GOVERNING LAW – This agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Illinois. In the event that the buyer defaults in terms of payment, the buyer will incur attorney’s fees in order to collect money owed. This also applies to a chargeback in which Carzrus 1 incurs a chargeback fee.
  • MISCELLANEOUS – This instrument constitutes the entire agreement between Carzrus 1 and Buyer, superseding all previous understandings and writings regarding this transaction. Any amendment or modifications of this Agreement shall be void unless in writing and signed by Carzrus 1.
  • No delay or omission by Carzrus 1 in exercising any right or remedy hereunder shall be a waiver thereof or of any other right or remedy, and no single or partial exercise thereof shall preclude any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any other right or remedy. All rights and remedies of Carzrus 1 are cumulative.
  • Sales made pursuant to this Agreement shall be governed by the Uniform Commercial Code as the same may from time to time be construed and in effect in the state wherein Carzrus 1 has its main office.

TERMS

  • “Carz r Us 1”, “Carzrus 1”, and “Our” means Carzrus 1, 614 W. 3rd street, Armington, IL 61721.
  • “You” and “Your” means the customer named on the original invoice.
  • “Engine” means the assembly of cylinder block, cylinder heads and all internal lubricated parts.
  • “Transmission” means the assembly including the case, torque converter and all internal lubricated parts.
  • “Axle assembly” means the front or rear axle housing, knuckles, axles, internal gears, electronic control unit and bearings.
  • “Transfer case” means the housing, internal components and internal electronics (if any).
  • “Carrier assembly” means the housing case, gear set with non-removable stub axles and flanges.
  • “Sheet metal” means fenders, hoods, doors, deck lids, tailgates, head lamps, tail lamps, marker lamps, mirrors, quarters, trim pieces specified on the customer’s invoice.
  • “Installer/Repairer” means an independently owned and operated Licensed Repair Facility located in the United States or its territories.
  • “Mileage” At our discretion, CARZRUS 1 may utilize replacement recycled parts that meet our quality standards. The mileage for the Replacement part or Assembly may be equal to or greater than that of the original part or Assembly stated on the original invoice.

Exclusions

  • Glass: is not warrantied. All glass is sold as is. Electronic components: engine brain boxes, solenoids, etc. are sold as is and without a warranty. Any other item that the invoice states specifically is not warrantied shall be excluded from warranty protection. Parts that fail due to having been in a collision are not covered. Breakdowns of mechanical parts caused by non-covered components, defective workmanship, improper maintenance, improper installation, failure to clear or reprogram codes, use of incorrect fluids and lubricants as required by the OEM are not covered.
  • Mechanical parts breakdown caused by customer’s failure to service vehicle at proper intervals are excluded from warranty.

DISCLAIMER

Payment will not be made for any unauthorized repairs and/or replacements. CARZRUS 1 reserves the right to inspect any product prior to replacement. The year, make and model of the vehicle or part printed on this invoice is within the industry’s range of interchangeability and may not necessarily be the exact year, make and model of the customer’s vehicle. Mechanical assemblies may have accessory parts that are attached, and must be switched or removed to accommodate proper installation.

It is the responsibility of the Customer, or the Installer, to switch or remove the accessory parts to assure proper installation. This warranty does not cover accessory parts that may be on a mechanical assembly as described above.

All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty and do not cover incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Customer acknowledges, understands and agrees that due to the nature of used auto parts, the liability of CARZRUS 1 from all causes shall be limited to the price paid for the goods sold or provide. CARZRUS 1 is not responsible for any towing or storage charges that Customer may incur as a result of a defective part covered under this Warranty. In the event that a part sold by CARZRUS 1 is defective, liability shall be limited to the replacement of the part or a remedy not to exceed the price paid for the part, at CARZRUS 1’s option.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

If customer has any reason to believe that a part covered by this warranty is defective,

Customer must:

  1. Contact CARZRUS 1 prior to removing part or attempting to repair.
  2. At the request of CARZRUS 1, Customer must bring the vehicle to the repair facility recommended by CARZRUS 1 agents; and/ or allow inspection of the vehicle by a CARZRUS 1 employee or agent.
  3. Customer must comply with any requests for information and documentation by CARZRUS 1 or its agents.

NOTE: Please note that our terms and conditions, including clauses, are subject to change without prior notification. These updates apply retroactively to any existing work orders, quotations, or invoices also.
